Vego & Vegan Food Truck Event
3-4th June
Calling all vegans and vegetarians! Preston’s famous Food Truck Park is holding a special event for all the ethically minded foodies out there. Celebrating World Environment Day, the weekend will be home to some of Melbourne’s best vego and vegan food. The amazing lineup include Rice and Dice, Bomba Wood Fired Pizza, Grace Café Fitzroy, Vegilicous, Working Amazing, Jerry’s Vegiburgers, Dolly’s Sister Vegan Café & Bar, Von’s Vegan Bake house, Boho Blends and much more. Mind Body Spirit Festival
10th – 13th June
Australia’s largest health, wellbeing and natural therapies event is back for another year, with over 200 exhibitors on offer. Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the festival will house a variety of inspirational seminars, delicious health foods, meditation sessions and stage performances, all devoted to connecting mind, body and spirit. Educational courses, body pampering and unique products will also be on show. Tickets are available here! but can also be purchased at the venue.

Refugee Week Launch

The Refugee Council of Australia is proud to be launching Refugee Week in Melbourne, which will be a time to recognize the vast contribution that refugees make to our communities. The event will be held at Federation Square, with Osamah Sami hosting an exciting lineup of live music and entertainment. Featured performers are the Smith Street Band, Tripod and Robot Child, featuring Waleed Aly. Inspirational speakers with refugee backgrounds will speak and a street food market will also be held. The event is free, but donations to support the work of the Refugee Council are much appreciated. Make sure to RSVP here!

Race Against Depression 2016
25th June
Back for the 11th time, Race Against Depression is coming to Melbourne in June, an event which aims to raise awareness for depression and contribute to Lifeline’s 24 hour help line. Presented by RMIT’s Golden Key, the Amazing Race style event will involve working in teams to complete challenges around the city. Registration involves making a $10 donation to Lifeline Australia and either forming or joining a team. More details can be found here!
